We know what is important to our clients. Shay Health Care is qualified to provide both medical and non-medical care giver services.  Shay holds three Illinois state licenses to provide in-home care- and is also Medicare/Medicaid Certified.

When hiring a home health company there is an anxiety of Letting Someone in Your Home.  To alleviate that concern, Shay has performed a thorough 5 layer background check on all employees.  This means specifically that Shay has researched and reviewed personal references, educational requirements, police records check, sex offender registries, fingerprint check, and health care worker professional registries. 

We understand the concern over the liability of someone in your home.  Shay Health Care is covered by professional liability insurance.  We also carry workman’s comp insurance.  Shay Health Care is licensed, bonded and insured. 

Nobody wants a “Revolving Door” of people in your home.  At Shay we have our Care Coordinator personally introduce your caregiver or nurse during the first visit. We also make a concerted effort to send the same nurse/caregiver each and every time.If a change in staff occurs, you will be notified before the next visit.  At any time clients can request a different Shay caregiver.
