Like most health services, Medicare, Medicaid, and virtually all
insurance carriers recognize the cost saving features of Home Health
Care. Whether full-time or part-time care is provided it remain the
most cost effective way to provide the patient with the care needed
without costly hospital stays.
Shay Healthcare Services, Inc. is fully certified preferred provider
for Medicare, Medicaid and numerous health and managed care
programs.
Shay provides flexible reimbursement services for all concerned.
Prior to any care commitments being made, costs are thoroughly
discussed and fully explained. There are no hidden costs or
surprises. In fact, Shay works directly with you and the insurance
carrier(s) to establish the most convenient procedures.
Insurance Verification:
Upon referral, we obtain insurance
information on the client, verify home care coverage and secure
approval from the carrier and/or management organization.
Assignment Of Benefits:
We accept both Medicare and Medicaid assignments.
Secondary Insurance:
We will bill the secondary insurance, where
applicable, for and amounts which may not be covered by the primary
carrier.

Only a Home Health Care Agency certified to participate in the
Medicare Program may provide reimbursable Home Health Services. Shay
